Wednesday, June 24, 2020, 7-9 pm - Guild Get-Together
This will be the first of several potential opportunities for Guild leaders to get together to discuss topics of mutual interest.
This meeting will be held online via Zoom and is intended to be a follow-up to the very popular and well-attended 5/28 Virtual Programming meeting. We'll open with a few brief announcements and dedicate the bulk of the meeting to using Breakout Rooms for attendees to network with one another on a variety of follow-up topics related to virtual programming.
Important Registration Information:
Each NCQC member guild/organization may register up to 6 members and additional names/emails may be added to a waitlist by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org This program is geared towards NCQC Teachers and Guild Reps serving in the following roles: President, Programs/Workshop Chair, Philanthropy/Community Quilts, Parliamentarian, Small Quilt Group Coordinator, and Newsletter Editor/Social Media Chair.
After registering, you will receive an email confirmation with the link to join the meeting on 6/24 and a reminder email a day or two before the meeting. Registered participants can join using your computer, tablet, and/or phone. If you are new to using Zoom, we recommend logging in a few minutes early as you will be prompted to download the Zoom app. Once we are ready to start the meeting, we will admit you from the Waiting Room and will provide a brief orientation to the various settings and features at the start of the meeting.
Please submit questions/topics you would like to discuss with other attendees during the registration process and/or you can submit them via the Contact form below.
Wednesday, July 8, 2020 - Meet the Teachers
Our normal Meet the Teachers meeting for July will be via Zoom. For more information, please see our Meet the Teachers page.
If you have questions please use the Contact form below.
Zoom is a rapidly growing video conferencing app. It works best on a computer, if your computer has a camera or webcam (most do) because the bigger screen allows you to see more. Download a small app in advance (zoom.us/meetings) or log in early and you will be prompted for the download. You can also download the Zoom app (aka Zoom Cloud Meetings) for an iPad or phone.
