For Guilds:

  • Contact other guilds to possibly coordinate block booking of teachers and share travel costs, arrange to sell opportunity quilt tickets, and share information about your upcoming quilt show
  • Use our Events Calendar to promote workshop openings to fellow guilds and their members
  • Find teachers offering workshops/lectures that appeal to your membership's interests and schedule programming for your organizational calendar.
  • Locate potential vendors for your quilt show
  • Show off your Opportunity Quilt
  • Learn from and share information with other guilds through our email newsletters and quarterly meetings 
  • Coordinate communications about philanthropic efforts/community quilts; ie, requests for quilts in response to fires or other disasters  

For Teachers:

  • Gain access to dozens of quilt guilds and shops who hire teachers as speakers and for classes
  • Market your workshops/ lectures (especially new offerings) to Northern California quilt guilds, shops, and venues looking to book programs. 
  • Have the opportunity to participate in Meet the Teachers events and connect directly with representatives from quilt guilds, shops, and venues.
  • Connect with fellow teachers at NCQC meetings and events

For Conferences, Shops, and Other Organizations:

  • Promote your organization's services, programs, and mission to Northern California Quilters, Guilds, and Shops.
  • Include events on our event calendar, such as workshops, special guest teachers, etc.

    For Quilt Show Judges, Vendors, and Longarm Quilters:

  •   Publicize your availability and find venues and clients.    

For Individuals:

  • Find local quilt guilds in the Northern California (and nearby Northern Nevada) area
  • Find quilt shows, speakers, and workshops 
  • Find local quilt stores
  • Find longarm quilters

Individuals who belong to a member guild are automatically members of NCQC.
